Mary Elizabeth was born and raised in Sweetwater Texas, services will be held in both Northern Colorado as well as Texas. Mary is proceeded in death by her parents Elizabeth and Joseph Johnstown, her sister Janna and brother- in- law Nate. She is survived by two cherished daughters, Aurora (Gorge) Conifer of Angelo, Texas and Elizabeth (Frederick) Range of Broomfield, Colorado. She also leaves behind 5 grandchildren Christopher, Elizabeth, Harrison, Connor, and Ray. Mary will be remembered for her love of life and all Gods creatures, she especially loved her horses she said "riding made her feel free like she could ride the sadness in life behind". She loved Colorado so much she named her prize horses after places she loved such as Berthod, Collins, Windsor, and Morgan to name a few.  Her girls are carrying on their heritage, raising equestrians of their own. Lastly Aurora and Elizabeth would like their mothers friends, family and loved ones to know that Mary never met a stranger if you knew her even for a moment you were a friend for life, she treated everyone with dignity and respect. Aside from her family the bloodline of her horses will forever be her legacy. "Love is more than a mile high".

Cremation was under the care of McCoy Family Funeral Services.
