Oscar Lorenzo "Rudy" Polanco-Villalobos 64, of Windsor, Colorado passed away peacefully November 18, 2020 at the Mayo clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Lorenzo was born to Maria Ernestina Villalobos de Polanco and Jose Dolores Polanco Marquez in Casas Grandes, Chihuahua, Mexico. He spent most of his life in Farmington, New Mexico. He is survived by his wife Sonia, as well as his children Lawrence, Thomas, Chrystal, and Rudy he also had eleven cherished grandchildren. Lorenzo is also survived by his brothers and sisters Gloria Villalba, Enrique Polanco, Leonor Polanco Daniels, Maria Contreras, Ruben Polanco, Bernardo Polanco, Micaela Polanco, Victor Polanco and Jose Paco Polanco. Rudy's true passion was found in the oil fields. He started out as the owner and operator of Polanco Brothers Well Service, to pass his skills and knowledge of the industry to his brothers. Rudy practiced and perfected his craft for over 47 years managing and directing the operations of hundreds of employees in the industry. He was also responsible for inspiring his younger brothers and nurturing their growth by contributing as a key manager for Hurricane Air Swabbing Service. Rudy was an extremely hardworking and dependable man, if you needed anything you could always count on him. He was a genius when it came to delegating and making sure mistakes were minimized so that employees would be safe. Although he was a bit of a stubborn man, he enjoyed traveling with his family and being outdoors. He loved to joke and have fun, especially with his grandchildren Julicia, Roman, Lorenzo, Isabella, Zachary, Eli, Alyssa, Isaac, Lawrence, Andrew, and Nicole. He spoiled the girls and spoke sternly with the boys, but his love was infinite.
His family and friends would tell you he was very courageous and would never shy away from responsibility. Lorenzo truly cared for and loved his wife, children, grandchildren, siblings, and friends deeply, He will be greatly missed and forever loved.
Rudy's family is planning a memorial mall at 12:00 noon at Our lady of the Valley Catholic Church, Windsor Colorado on the 1st of December, 2020. A Graveside prayer prior to burial will be said by Father CJ of Our Lady of the Valley. Burial will be at 1:30 at Lakeview Cemetery Windsor, Colorado. COVID RESTRICTIONS will apply and seating will be limited.
