Katrina Marie Blake, 49 of Denver, Colorado

Katrina who loved to be called “Momma” by her son departed her loving family on September 17, 2022. Katrina was born in Newport News, Va. on December 9, 1972, to Patricia Blake and George D. Harris III. She is preceded in death by both sets of Grandparents & her Daughter Marley Blake.

Katrina is survived by her son Zachary John Phillip Martinez, her mother Patricia Huffman. Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins & various loved ones.

She graduated from West Chicago high school in 1990 and joined the US Army right out of high school.

Her education includes IIT - Women in Science & Engineering Certification 1990, Fermilab - Certificate in Science & Engineering 1990, Army - Communications Specialist / Leadership award, 1990-1992, IIT - Electrical Engineering 1990-1991, College of DuPage- Business Management & Communication Cert 1995, PPS - Team Building Certification 1995, and Tom Hopkins - Sales Training Certification 1998

She held various Board Positions including, Institute of Accounting (Colorado Springs, Co.), IMA (Chapter President, Boulder, Co.), Boulder Chamber of Commerce, Broomfield Chamber of Commerce, Greater Augusta Employee Committee Council 

She is most remembered by her Loving nature & radiant Smile 

Services will be provided by McCoy Family Funeral & Cremation Services
