Katelynn Fisher Obituary

Katelynn (Kate) Diane Fisher, 22, born Katelynn Diane Carroll on December 1, 2000, in Greeley, CO, passed away May 12, 2023, at home in the arms of her family. Kate is survived by her husband Pierce Alexander Fisher; parents Greg and Ricki Carroll; brother Gaven Carroll; and many grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins who love her dearly.

Kate was preceded in death by her grandmother Diane Taylor; cousin Shelbi Taylor and Shelbi’s mother Jamie Taylor; Great Grandparents George and Elaine Taylor, Cecil and Lois Kier, Howard and Clela Wehl, and Granville and Alta Carroll.

Kate was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on November 26, 2011, and served her God Jehovah faithfully her entire life.  Her faith in Bible promises were unshakable and was always the one to smile and encourage others with these promises.  One promise that was foremost in her mind was at Revelation 21:4 that says: “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.  The former things have passed away.”  Another was at Isaiah 25:8, “He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.”

In August 2019, Pierce proposed to his life-long friend, and they were married on September 20, 2019, in Greeley, CO.  Their love, loyalty and devotion to each other was unquestionable to all who knew them.

Kate loved to travel.  Her travels included Thailand for a brief missionary trip, and Warsaw Poland for an International Convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses.  Kate’s hobbies were playing the guitar, art, hiking, rock climbing and camping.  Kate loved the mountains and outdoors.  She never complained and was a strong and brave woman with a beautiful sense of humor.  Everyone who knew her loves her and will miss her until she is brought back to life in a beautiful paradise earth where we can hold and hug her again.  “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” – John 5:29, 29.
