Our beloved Erika was called to Heaven on Saturday, May 21, 2022, after a brave battle with Stage 4 colon cancer.
Erika’s caring spirit and generous heart was felt by many whom she met. Her superpower was to see the good in people and make you feel very special. A favorite quote of Erika’s is from Cinderella – “We must simply have courage and be kind…” Words she lived by.
Erika was always looking for an adventure, with many friends or family members willing to join her. Her love of football (Broncos), off-roading, furry friends, and especially her family was evident to anyone she spoke with. Her ability to talk with you about almost any subject made for lively conversation.
We will always remember Erika’s smile and fun-loving personality. Her devotion and fierce loyalty were some of her finest qualities. When Erika cared about you, she really CARED about you! Though Erika’s wish would have been to stay here with us, she knew her forever home was with the Lord.
Erika is a Colorado native, born in Steamboat Springs. She is survived by her family, and many, many friends!
Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
A Celebration of Erika's life will be held Thursday, June 2, Please contact the family for details.
