Edward Everett Ing II passed away on August 3, 2022, in Fort Collins, Colorado. Everett was born on July 30, 1947, in St. Louis, Missouri to Edward Everett Ing and Lou Ethel (Smith) Ing. He grew up in East Alton, Illinois and graduated from East Alton Wood River High School and attended McKendree University in Lebanon, Illinois.
Everett worked for the Illinois Highway Department, then after leaving there, he traveled to Florida then Hawaii before moving out west where he fell in love with the mountains of Colorado and became a tour bus driver. Everett was known for his kindness and for being a friend to all.
Everett is survived by his sister, Luretta and her husband John Meyer of Brighton, Illinois. He is also survived by a nephew Tim Bartow and his wife Colleen of Chesterfield, Missouri, a niece, Rhonda Bartow of St. Louis, Missouri and a great niece, Carly Bartow of Princeton, New Jersey.
Private graveside services will be conducted at a later date at Roselawn Garden Cemetery in Bethalto, Illinois.
