Domingo Franco-Zapata

Domingo Franco passed away peacefully February 9, 2021, at the age of 70. He was survived by his wife Guadalupe, three daughters, Minerva, Mayra, and Elizabeth, son-in-law Tom Shirley, six grandchildren Mark, Jonathan, Joshua, Mia, Jolee, and Tristen, four brothers, one sister and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by both parents Domingo and Antonia Franco and two brothers Miguel and Blas Franco.

In his earlier life his passion was working as a ranch hand tending to the cattle and other livestock. One can say his hobby was working outdoors repairing whatever came his way and making sure the grounds were kept tidy and pretty with tons of flowers. Being in the country was his favorite place. In 1985 he married Guadalupe. His passion then changed to becoming a great husband and father. He would do anything for his wife and daughters. When he became a grandpa, he loved playing with the children, spending time with them outside and making them laugh. His family and friends were a big part of his life. Playing pranks on us or anyone he knew just to put a smile on our face would bring him joy. His kindness and humor will be missed by many.
