Brad Lee Van Wyhe was born in Denver, Colorado on October 1, 1967. He was adopted by Will and Sharon in Greeley, Colorado when he was six weeks old. The family moved to Gering, Nebraska in 1970 when Brad was two years old.
Brad spent his elementary and high school years playing basketball, baseball, football and golf. He was beloved by his friends and classmates.
Upon graduating from high school, Brad received a basketball scholarship from the South Dakota School of Mines. He then transferred to Colorado State University where he was very involved in Campus Crusade and met Natasha.
They were married shortly after graduation and moved to the Seattle, Washington area where Brad started working for Boeing in the engineering department. Brad and Natasha’s two sons Evan Cole and Dane Hudson were born in Washington.
The family then moved to Fort Collins, Colorado where Brad coached both Cole and Dane in football and basketball. The three of them also enjoyed playing golf together. The boys were excited to witness Brad’s hole in one at South Ridge Golf Course, par 4, hole #9.
