Benjamin Lee Johnson was born October 13th, 1985 to Daniel Lee Johnson and Lynette Marie Swedlund, at Fort Carson Hospital in Colorado Springs. Ben was gregarious and charismatic, making friends wherever he went. He was generous and often went out of his way to help others. Ben was a talented and prolific artist, crafting his own unique style and experimenting with various mediums. He could play any instrument he came across by ear and loved to write lyrics and compose songs. Aside from his artistry he will be most remembered for his quick and inventive humor. He was a beloved brother and son, who, through good times and bad, brought his family laughter, happiness, and pride. He had an enduring love for his daughter, Jaycee Lee, and never stopped thinking about her. His love of life and faith in God was commendable. His embrace of a live fast and die young lifestyle may have taken him from our lives far too soon, but the impact he had on his family and friends will never fade.
He is survived by his daughter, Jaycee Lee, his mother Lynn, younger brother Keith, and younger sister Jaclyn Martin. He is proceeded in death by his father Daniel Lee Johnson.
