Amy (Vigil) Jaramillo

Amy Michelle (Vigil) Jaramillo was born to Darling and Herman Vigil on July 8th, 1978. Amy was born in Denver, CO and lived her life in Frederick Colorado. She attended school at Frederick High School, and later earned an associate degree as a Medical Assistant. Amy then went on to work and dedicated 22 years working as a Medical Assistant. The last 16 years of that was spent working for Doctor Charles Van Hook, at Longmont Pulmonary & Critical Care. In 2000 she married the love of her life Ray Jaramillo from Brighton CO; Ray survives her at the family home. In 2000 she also became a mother, she has six children who also survive her, Ambrose Jaramillo (Frederick CO), Gabirel Jaramillo (Brighton CO), Isaac Jaramillo (Frederick, CO) Alex Jaramillo (Frederick, CO), Christian Jaramillo (Frederick, CO) and Michaela Jaramillo, (Frederick, CO). Amy is also survived by parents, Herman A Vigil, and Darling (McVay) Vigil, both of Frederick CO, her Brother Herman Vigil (Jr), of Oregon and spouse Jessica (Roberts) Vigil, brother John M Vigil, (Frederick), and four grandchildren. Amy will be missed by all her loved ones, friends, and family! Amy went to eternal rest on August 17th, 2023, in the comfort of her home in Frederick, CO, surrounded by her loving husband, children, and parents.  Amy is preceded in death by her brother Able James Vigil.   

Celebration of Life will be on September 16th, 2023, at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 5503 Bella Rosa Parkway, Frederick, CO 80504. Rosary will begin at 10:30 am, with Mass to follow from 11:00 am-12:00 pm.  

**Note:  Flowers for Amy can only be accepted by church on Thursday (September 14th, 2023) and Friday (September 15th, 2023) due to regulations set forth by church.  The family thanks you for all your love and support during this difficult time.
